Order book walls and liquidity
The walls are the live order book, not trades that already happened. Ridge reads Coinbase’s aggregated book, the resting bids and asks near the mid, and draws them beside the newest candle in Prism.
Green is bids. Red is asks. The length of a bar is the size waiting at that price. A wall is one of the thicker bars: more than half the largest resting size on screen, drawn brighter than the rest. The callout, when INFO is on, names this block “Order book” and “Resting bids and asks”.
Liquidity here means orders still open in the book. The volume profile is different. That mountain is contracts that already traded, and it is what the point of control and value area are built from. A wall can sit where little has traded, or where a lot has. Ridge does not treat one as the other.
Terrain does not draw the book. Switch to Prism and leave “Book walls” on in Layers. Turning the layer off removes the walls. It does not change the candles or the volume profile.
